As the summer sun rises higher and our days feel a little lighter, there’s no better time to clear out what’s been weighing us down. If you have been feeling stuck, look around your space and see how much clutter is surrounding you. If your space is full of crap, then this might be the reason you feel in a rut and have not achieved the dream life you have been envisioning. This is the be

st place to start... with our physical spaces.
Decluttering isn’t just about making your home look tidy. It’s about energetic hygiene. In holistic practices like Feng Shui and Ayurvedic living, our outer environment is seen as a direct reflection of our inner world. When our surroundings are chaotic, our thoughts often follow. But when we consciously clear space, we make room—not just for fresh air and sunlight, but for new opportunities, clarity, and peace of mind.
Books like Make Your Bed remind us that small actions, like tidying your room or making your bed each morning, can set the tone for the entire day. In Feng Shui, clearing out clutter is the first step in allowing chi (life energy) to flow more freely. And in holistic wellness, your home is viewed as an extension of your body so know that what you surround yourself with matters just as much as what you eat or think.
Whether it’s your closet, your car, your kitchen, or your social media feed literally everything you choose to keep (or release) sends a message to the universe about what you’re ready to receive.
Helping Questions to Get You Started:
Is there a corner of your home that drains your energy every time you see it?
Are you holding on to objects out of guilt, habit, or fear?
Could you start by releasing just 3 items today?
If you answered YES to any one of these then you can start today and release that stagnate energy from your life.
Don't think of decluttering as a chore. It's an invitation to step into a healthier, more aligned version of yourself.
Here are some books I read the helped me come to this conclusion:
📚 Suggested Reading for Holistic Decluttering
Make Your Bed by Admiral William H. McRaven
The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo
Clear Your Clutter with Feng Shui by Karen Kingston
Outer Order, Inner Calm by Gretchen Rubin
SoulSpace: Transform Your Home, Transform Your Life by Xorin Balbes
The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning by Margareta Magnusson
After making seasonal decluttering a part of my everyday life I am testament to what can happen when you clear up the old to let the new in.
Let go. Open up. Make room for the life you truly want.
